Wide World of Sports Deck

The Disney Cruise Line Wide World of Sports Deck is a massive open-air activities area featuring basketball and volleyball courts, located on Deck 10 of the Disney Magic. In this dynamic environment, you’re sure to find a friendly pick-up game to join, or an unoccupied volleyball or soccer net to practice your shots. Kids, teens and adults of all ages are invited to enjoy this outstanding place for fun activity and fresh air.

If sports are not on your agenda, the Wide World of Sports Deck is also a wonderful place to gaze out at the ocean and enjoy sweet sea breezes. Its location on Deck 10—the top passenger deck—affords sweeping, panoramic views from the highest vantage.

There are plenty of other great locations for energetic play if you’d like to explore your sports options beyond what’s available on the Wide World of Sports Deck.

Ping Pong: Enjoy a sport that’s perfect for all ages with ping pong tables on Deck 9! Whether you’re a lightning-fast expert or a quick-learning novice, ping pong on a Disney Cruise is pure fun.

Shuffleboard: Try your hand at Shuffleboard—a sport that’s considered traditional cruise ship recreation. Slide into fun on one of our courts on Deck 4, waxed to perfection. Whether you play traditional one-on-one “knock off,” the teamplay “Horse Collar” or the adventurous “Crazy Eight,” shuffleboard on a Disney Cruise is always worth a spin.

Running Track: Discover an invigorating workout on a 1/3-mile lap around beautiful Deck 4. While running the length of the ship and traveling on the port and starboard decks, you’ll be wowed by stunning views over the open sea.

Outlook Bar

Outlook Baron the Disney Wonder is a 65-seat, 2,500-square-foot indoor lounge located on Deck 10, Forward just above Cove Café. The venue offers a scenic retreat for Guests looking to enjoy a refreshing beverage while taking in spectacular seaside views via the floor-to-ceiling, curved glass windows.

Because hours of operation vary, check the Personal Navigator—the Disney Cruise Line daily newsletter detailing all there is to see and do—for specific dates and times while onboard.

All alcoholic drinks, non-alcoholic drinks and gourmet coffees are available for an additional charge. Guests who purchase a specialty coffee mug—available in Outlook and other shops onboard—are entitled to a complimentary coffee in Cove Café. Snacks are complimentary.
Additional Details

Guests will now be able to have spectacular views in the comfort of the new Outlook Bar. Located on deck 10, the 2,500-square-foot Outlook Bar is a stylish retreat for guests to relax and enjoy a beverage/cocktail as they peer out through floor-to-ceiling, curved glass windows. An elegant spiral staircase connects Outlook Bar with the existing Cove Café one deck below. The 65-seat lounge has a granite-topped cocktail bar with comfortable seating throughout the space, all providing picture-perfect views of the surrounding landscapes.

Palo on the Disney Magic is a 130-seat, Adult Exclusive restaurant located on Deck 10, Aft that boasts Northern Italian cuisine for dinner nightly and a brunch on 4-night and longer cruises.

Named after the signature long poles used to push and pull gondolas in and around Venice, Palo is the preeminent venue for Disney dining on the high seas. Boasting elegant Venetian glass, inlaid wood paneling and sweeping 270-degree panoramic ocean views thanks to the restaurant’s elegant floor-to-ceiling windows and semi-circular layout, Palo is the perfect setting for Guests 18 years of age or older looking for a more intimate—and more romantic—dining experience. Venetian masks adorning the walls, a backlit bar at the restaurant’s center and an open kitchen only add to the magic.

Palo Reservations
Reservations are required and can be made online or upon boarding the ship. When dining at Palo, Guests will skip the regularly scheduled Main Dining restaurant.

Online reservations are available at the following times:

Platinum Castaway Club, Suites/Concierge, Weddings/Vow Renewal, VIP, Media and Make a Wish Guest Types: 120 days in advance Gold Castaway Club: 105 days in advance Silver Castaway Club: 90 days in advance All Other Reservations: 75 days in advance

An additional charge is required to dine at Palo:

Dinner: $20 dining charge, per person Brunch: $20 dining charge, per person

Please note prices are subject to change without notice.

When Guests have not cancelled a dining reservation at Palo or Remy by 2:00 p.m. on the day of the reservation or do not show to the restaurant to honor their reservation, the reservation is considered confirmed and 100% of the Dining Option is applied to the Guests’ folio.

Dress Code
At Palo, dress pants and shirt or jacket is required for men and a dress or pantsuit is required for women. Please no jeans, shorts, capri pants, flip-flops or tennis shoes.

Dinner
Dinner begins at 6:00 p.m. nightly; the final reservation time is 9:00 p.m.

Over subtle classical Italian music, Palo boasts the best in fine Northern Italian dining, serving a varied selection of tantalizing favorites with a mouth-watering contemporary twist.

Open seating is available when dining at Palo for brunch, meaning you and your family are invited to dine at any table you choose.

Vegetarian delights include assorted cereals, salads, fresh fruits and berries and a selection of cheeses.
