LINE 12 – NARRATIVE: Two weeks and a day seem to feel like three weeks. Well anyway it takes us a bit of time to prep and load the trucks. We end up with the big rig and trailer, two Escalades, a White Cargo Van, and an Ambulance.

We are several miles down the road and an escalade blows a tire. There are zombies(S.Z.) on both sides of the road. We try to fix it with little amount of notice but get noticed we do. A battle brakes out as the zombies(S.Z.) converge on us. In the fight Howard Jr. Barks of orders and people snap-to I have hope for this group more and more each day. Kevin puts down two, Dr. Rivet puts down two, Tabitha puts down two, and I manage to drop three.

Because I want to be an example to others just after the fight I ask Howard Jr. to do a cursory wound check. The point being that it gets done and it is seen that it gets done. As we put on the donut I realize we have a car lot of vehicles around us why are we not getting some real tiers for the Escalade. After doing so we continue on.

We travail farther and come up on a large herd of zombies(S.Z.) a hundred to two hundred or so. Now before the events that happened unfolded I would have told you we had this in the bag I mean say forty thousand pounds of shambeling flesh and bone V.S. Twenty six tons of rolling steel they were just zombie(S.Z.) jelly waiting to be made.

We start to plow through them but the big rig is moving a little fast and Jole’s driving gets a little squarely then blows a trailer tire and the rig jack-knifes. Thankfully the momentum of the crash kills most of the zombies(S.Z.) left. As we are clearing the zombies(S.Z.) and checking the injured. We hear a church bell of in the distance.

A priest and a few followers find us and ask if we are ok. After some introductions they offer us some food and shelter for the night. We accept and follow them into a church. We learn things of our new hosts most notably one of the couples is with child and has a young one who is with fever. Dr. Rivet checks them out before dinner and for the most part things are as they should be. We have dinner, small talk ensues and there is talk of our two groups joining.

Then dinner got exciting the pregnant lady’s water brakes. Dr. Rivet jumps into action like the devoted doctor he is and helps deliver the baby. They even have a room set up for the task. The only people in the room is Dr. Rivet, the lady, and Timmothy the father of the new born to be.

After a few minutes we hear a scream. Not the scream of a woman giving labor but the scream of a man who has seen something far to difficult for him to understand and that scream is cut short. I go into the room to see what the issue is and I am struck dumbfounded by the scene. The lady is dead her belly splayed open like the egg of a facehugger alian, Timmothy’s face is missing, and Dr. Rivet’s face and chest is covered in blood and chunks of flesh. And before i can bring my boar-spear to bear there is a zombie(S.Z.) BABY! rushing by my leg. A FUCKING ZOMBIE BABY! God I’m sorry but if this is your will you are strongly making my question my faith.
